Every great artistic journey begins with a vision. Nritya Sanskriti Dance Academy was born from a 10-year-old dream and has been actively training students for the past 3 years. We have proudly trained over 50+ students, helping them build grace, confidence, and artistic skill.
Our Founder & Guru Profile
Our Principal and Founder, Amrita Goswami Roy, comes from a deeply musical lineage—born to a violinist father, a sitar artist mother, and a vocalist sister. With over 25 years of teaching and performance experience, her dance journey is rooted in the prestigious Kalakshetram Style.

What is the right age for a child to start Bharatanatyam?
The ideal age to begin structured training is 5 years. At this stage, children's bones are pliable enough to learn the signature Araimandi stance, and they can understand basic rhythm patterns.
How long does it take to master Bharatanatyam?
It depends heavily on individual dedication and regular practice. We follow a structured 8-level Diploma Certification pathway. Generally, completing a comprehensive training cycle up to an Arangetram requires 6 to 8 years of consistent effort.
Can adults learn Bharatanatyam from scratch?
Absolutely! We offer dedicated adult batches. Learning Bharatanatyam later in life is an excellent way to improve core body strength, expand your physical flexibility, relieve everyday stress, and support mental health.
Is Bharatanatyam difficult for beginners?
Not at all. When taught through a step-by-step, structured process, it is easy to pick up. We break down complex movements into smaller, easy-to-learn steps so beginners never feel overwhelmed.
How many classes are conducted per week?
We conduct 2 structured classes per week for both our offline and online training batches.
What is the fee structure at your academy?
Our monthly fees start from a minimum of INR 2,000 per month. The final fee depends entirely on your chosen learning arrangement (e.g., offline group class, online sessions, home tuition, or community learning circles).
Do you provide dance costumes for stage shows?
While we do not supply costumes directly, we work closely with trusted traditional costume designers and can easily connect you with them for custom fittings and rentals.
Do your students get real stage performance opportunities?
Yes, definitely. Our students regularly perform at our grand annual showcase programs, open talent competitions, and various local and national cultural festivals throughout the year.
